I would like to pair iPhone 3G (3.0) and MBP (10.5.7) via bluetooth in such a way that the laptop acts as a bluetooth headset for the phone.

- Devices are paired and connected
- Phone rings (iTunes fades out)
- Accept the call
- Mic and speakers on MBP are enabled
- Conversation commences (speaker phone style)
- Call ends (iTunes fades in)

Is this possible?... iTunes fading aside

Any tips or a link you can point me to would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Anything is possible with the programming know-how, but I've yet to see a pre-canned program that can do this.

there is a program named blue phone elite that does this. when you receive a call it pops up with the name and number and you can answer it using your built in mic and speakers
