So im kinda new to mac, and when i got this (macbook 2.1 intel 2ghz) it had no OS of any kind, and the hdd was just formated. Tried first to run mac os 10.4.6 but it would not install. Got a message sayin it wouldnt install on this machine.
Then after alot of fooling around, i got a hold of a os 10.5.6 os. Got it to start installing. After complete install, and no problems what so ever, the mac boots up. But it freezes @ a blue screen. The mac uses a LOOONG time to get there (about 2min) and then nothing happends. No commands work, mouse ain't there, and i really dont know what to do. I have run every diagnostic test i have come across, and they all say nothing is wrong.

Anyone got a clue what this problem could come of?

Tnx

Install disks are model specific. Unless you're using a Leopard retail install DVD, (black color) I suspect the disk you have used is not the correct version for the machine. The blue screen and freeze probably has to do with the graphics driver being incorrect.

It also sounds like you may have "borrowed" install disks from someone else. You really need to purchase your own copy of Leopard. Check with Amazon or NewEgg, both sell the retail version of Leopard at a discount.

Regards.
