That is genius! Although our plugs are one of the safest in the world they are a nightmare when it comes to packing things into bags as they either damage other stuff in the bag, damage the bag or damage you when you are carrying the bag. I'd buy a dozen or more straight away!

I'm not familiar with UK plugs, but it looks like the actuall physical connection is deeply recessed into the outlet to avoid little fingers from getting shocked, which also causes the issue with the large adapter plugs. Is that the problem?

I'm quite surprised that this hasn't been done sooner quite frankly. Looks to be very practical and definitely innovative.
