Connecting my laptop to the television

Hey guys,

First post here, just need some advice.

My old MacBook had an S-Video connection, as did my TV, and i used this to watch movies from the laptop

Now, however, my new MacBook only has a minidisplay port. Just wondering what my options are now in terms of connecting the laptop to the TV. I've had little luck trying to find an answer, though maybe i just haven't known where to look.

If anyone has a solution, or a link to a previous similar query that i didn't see, that would be fantastic.

You may need to do this in 2 stages

First a Mini Display Port to VGA cable

Then a device to hook up to S Video
