iMac won't display music CDs.

I've tried two music CDs and neither of them show up on the desktop or in the Finder. How can I get it to show? It's driving me crazy it won't even show up in iTunes.

it doesnt even show up in iTunes?? ... open finder, go to the menu bar and click Finder>Preferences. Then under General, make sure the CD's and DVD's box is checked. Might work.

I've checked all my preferences and there's no reason why it won't show, I don't get it.

You should just try restarting your computer and see if that gets you anywhere.

I restarted and he problem has gone, but still, what caused it?

It's hard to tell with quirky problems like that. Most likely a rare bug.
