Hey guys

I've installed Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit on my new macbook alu. I've used bootcamp v.2.1. Everything works like a charm except when i click on the windows partition (holding down "alt", during startup) it hangs / idles for about 1 minute, before even starting to boot windows.

After the anoying minute has passed, windows starts and works perfectly.
During the idle time, all i see is a blank screen. btw. Leopard starts right away when choosing this in the bootmenu...

my specs are
core 2, 2,4ghz
4gig ddr3 mem
onboard gf9400
256gb disk

ive googled this, but i was unable to find a thread containing a solution. hope u guys got one. :|

Maybe your MacBook doesn't like 64bit operating systems? That would be a problem with Snow Leopard, if so.

Im quite sure thats this is not a 64bit issue, it is a intel 64bit core 2 duo processor. Besides, it works perfectly! my only prob is the idle time before booting.

I found a post about the same problem, with an imac running bootcamped windows xp (32bit). but it didnt present a solution / cause to this prob.
