I got a mac book a little over a year ago and it is already down. I would suggest if you buy a mac book that you get as much extended warranty that you can afford. For they are only good for a year. The price is way to high for a laptop that only last a year.

Just make sure you get all the extended warranty you can so you can keep getting it fixed to be able to use it for an extended time.

How is it "already down"? Apple is usually helpful even if you're outside of your original warranty, so take it to an Apple store and see what they say.
