SMS freezes with 3.0

Mac Minis, iPhone 6/5S, iMac, Mac Book Pro
We have two iPhones with 3.0. One of them has a problem with the SMS keyboard not showing after tapping the input area. Only after deleting the past messages to this particular phone number will the keyboard again show after the tap. Does anyone have this problem? A hard restart doesn't solve the problem.

I'm having part of the same problem. It's several hard taps to get the keyboard to pop up for me, but it eventually comes up. Haven't had to restart or anything that drastic, yet.
