Open drive on boot

I was given a G4 from a friend I am trying to load osx on it but I cannot get the DVD drive to open during boot. I am using a windows key board please help.

I got it. I had to hold the mouse button down. So far im impressed I played with it for a few b4 the updates. Its a 933 g4 with 1.25 gig of ram. its faster than I thought it would be.

If you can get your hands on a Mac keyboard you will notice the last key on the top right is the eject CD button.

Also F12 usually opens the CD drive, just hold it down and you will see the
eject icon on the screen.
