On a complete random "let's go to the city" adventures, we woke up at 7:30AM, caught a shower and got dressed, then called a cab to take us to the mall where we had to catch the bus to take it to the train station.
We get there just as the train left, and had to wait another hour to catch the next one. We get into the city around 12:30 or so, and hit up a street-meat vender for some grubbage.
After that, we spent most of the day walking downtown, checking out all these incredible punk-goth stores..
(PS. It's muggy, sticky, raining on/off, and just very "heavy" feeling all day.)
So I find this kilt I wanted to buy (as I've been wanting one for about 4 years now), and it was red/grey/white plaid and a perfect fit.. Since it was fairly pricey, I decided to walk around some more, check out some other stores, and see what they had to offer.
I found some cool stuff like shoes, boots, tshirts, pants, etc.
Ended up going back after several coffee breaks (I'm a sucker for a red-eye), we go back and I find this other sweeeet kilt. It's black kinda heavy material, and it had large cargo pockets and a zipper up the front towards the right side, and had D-rings on it, that was a bit more, but I went for it.
It's the most comfiest thing ever!
Managed to get some 13" ****ies cell-phone work shorts, in fire-engine red (which are REALLY hard to find), on sale for like $20.. Sold.
Random trips are great. I met up with my good friend (who's moving in with my gf and I in the fall).
I'm so tired from walking all day.. I must now sleep. Good night
