Problem: The hard drive of my Power Mac G4 was recently re-set, and since then I have been having issues with getting the CD-Rom to work properly.
Symptoms: The CD-Rom drive is not displayed on the computer and I receive an error that reads "The disk you inserted cannot be read by this computer" when a CD is inserted in to the drive.
Thoughts: I feel its an issue with the drivers not being re-installed properly or at all. I've looked for drivers online and have not been able to find them. It wasn't me who re-setup the computers, so I don't have any information pertaining to that.
Any help in figuring this out would be great. Thanks.
