Woohoo, downloading it now (and it's slowing down as I type, I guess everyone's logging on), can't wait to see if it is all they say it is like you say!

is anyone else having problems syncing their notes?
i guess it's supposed to sync with the notes from within Mail?
if i select "sync notes" and then Apply, "sync notes" becomes unselected and everything BUT notes sync... =(

I had this issue, just make a note in mail and try again.

It'll sync your notes.

The slow part was backing up the phone the rest went smooth still testing so
far its nice would have been nicer if AT&T would have allowed MMS and tethering.

Keep trying, I think it just means that too many people are trying to update their software at once; hardly surprising. I got that message, too, multiple times, then it finally updated.

hmmm

I appear to have icons missing - no 'settings' on mine ...anyone help?

Are you sure the icon(s) didn't get bumped to another page? That happened to mine, so I've been sorting them all out again.

Same here, the voice memo app made all my other apps bump across one page. 2 minutes spent re-shuffling though and we're back to normal ;)

Yeah you just gotta be patient and keep trying. It took me about 45 minutes of just leaving my computer and trying in between doing other stuff. Just hang in there. ;D

I know one thing though, that initial backup after the upgrade is taking forever. I guess it's because it basically backing up new software.

Currently verifying iPhone software...

Hope everything goes well, has anyone had any glitches? I usually wait about a week before a big update comes out to update it but going from what I've read everything seems to be going well...

Favorite addition with the update?

**While I was typing it finished, didnt really take long at all... already not really a fan of the new "sending" interface in messaging, but still gonna play around. Can anyone link the guided tour in a post, the one Apple usually has on their site, can't seem to find one.

Not impressed with the fact that you have to pay to use tethering. Does anyone know a way round this other than jailbreaking your phone?
