Screen Shade

So Im just wondering how to set it so my screen does not go a shade darker after 5 min or so while leaving it unattended, such as when watching a movie so I dont have to get up and move my mouse to brighten the screen again.

It is under the Energy Saver options in System Preferences.

Click on the gears on the dock.
Click on the light bulb.

Under the Options tab there is a box for "Autumatically reduce the brightness of the display before display sleep". Uncheck that and you should be good to go.

That drove me crazy when I first got my Mac as well.
