saving command & conquer to harddrive so i dont have to use dvd

hi, i was wondering if any one could tell me how to save the dvd of command and conquer generals to my hard drive so i dont have to keep using my dvd,
im aware that ill have to create a dmg file so it thinks its there, but whats the best way of going about this, im a bit of a noob when it comes to macs,
ive just come over from the darkside,
any help would be great

Your Mac's Specs
20" iMac C2D 2.16ghz, 13" MacBook 2.0ghz, 60gb iPod vid, 1gb nano
Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility

Click on the CD in the source window
Go to Images -> New -> From whatever the name of the dvd is

This will create a disk image that you can double click whenever you want, and the dvd will appear on the desktop so you can play without a disk
