The wallpaper setter has stopped working! I can't set a wallpaper from an event anymore! Suddenly (maybe after I updated to iPhoto 09?) whenever I select a photo from an iPhoto event as my wallpaper it just stays the blue default! Does anyone have a clue as to what might be going on?

I don't know what's going on there, but try just selecting the image by going to:

System Preferences ---> Desktop and Screensaver ---> Make sure "Desktop" tab is selected. ---> Select the picture you want.

That's what I did (except I went directly from the desktop). Going through the sysprefs didn't fix it.
