using programs off enclosed macbook hard drive

hey guys,

i was just wondering since i will be replacing my macbook hard drive with a bigger size one, if i enclosed my previous one to make it an external drive if i could run programs like logic and games maybe like World of Warcraft off of it?

Yes.

Just install the apps onto that drive and it will work!

I have an 8gb USB memory stick that I use to run Sims 3!

But I need to upgrade my hard drive on my Macbook too so I'm going to do the same as you, will save spending more money on an external drive!
