I want to make a book trailer and would like to do it in iMovie. The software is great and seems to have all the functionality I need. The ONLY problem is that when adding text to or on top of clips I am unable to move or reposition the text. I can change font, color etc but cannot find a way to move the bounding box to a different position. Can anyone advise how this is done?

Also albeit that is there another software thats not too complicated but lets me move/ position text and can be used for a book trailer that is comprised of mostly pictures (that need special effects), sound and text (that also need special effects).

At this point I am thinking of doing it in powerpoint for the text flexibility and effects. Any suggestions?

PS Dont know Flash.

As far as I know, iMovie does not allow you to move the text where you want it. Final Cut can do that but perhaps someone knows of a less expensive option.

Keynote or Powerpoint might be a tricky option depending on your end result need.
