Just a heads up regarding the latest MS update to Mac Office 2008, 12.1.9.
The auto updater offers to download it but for some reason there's no way to install it, rather, it goes into a loop when "install" is clicked and will download the update again.
I finally had to go to the MS Mac Office site Link and download the update manually.
The manual update is quite a bit larger which leads me to suspect the auto update was not complete. Also, the manual update download image includes an installer which will correctly install 12.1.9.
