Recently worked on a friends G4 power mac which had a power supply fail. Got a new supply and got everything hooked up and booted the system. Everything seems to working correctly but the mouse. It will move around the screen but I can't open or close a window or click on anything. It is odd though it might work just as the system is booting to the desktop but when is finishes booting, I have no ability to click on anything. The mouse is plugged into the USB port on the back of the desktop, it that the problem?
