Ipod problems

I have an ipod nano 4g new model. You know the spinn pad or what you should call it are sounding weard. its like klicking when i touch it on the down part. it have been like that for a while but now its even worse. should i leave it so they can repair it or what?:'(

yeah but when i touch it just a little like draging my finger against it some times it dosent react when im scrolling.
