iphone replacement cost

with apple announcing the new iphone 3gs, and the price drop of the current iphone 3g, how will it affect us if we lose our iphone 3g? currently, if we lose it, we pay $199 for the first phone, then it goes up from there. after june 17, will that price drop to $99? i dont plan on losing my iphone, but i was just wondering.

At&t pays up wards of 200 per iphone with two year contract. your best bet would be turning to ebay I am sure after the new phone comes out you will see a flood of them for sale
