I have a month old Macbook Air and it lags on pretty much anything I do... scrolling down pages, opening applications, playing a game on Firefox or Safari. I have barely anything downloaded because it's so new. What can I do to make it go normal speed? I've updated my computer and everything.

A month old machine should normally not be bogged down. Unless you're running resource intensive applications, the response for scrolling and on the net should be normal.

Open your Activity Monitor app and take a look at what's going on - Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor.app

Also open System Preferences, Accounts. Highlight your user account name and click on the Login Items tab. What's running on startup?

If you can't sort it out, give Apple a call and make an appointment with your local Apple Store Genius.

Regards.
