Has anyone been told that they are sending out Spam messages through MSN/Windows Live Messenger?

Recently my friends have told me that I am sending them Spam messages. These messages are mostly related to male enhancement or porn.

The funny thing is...
a) I'm on a Mac and have NEVER installed Windows Messenger on my Mac.
b) I use Adium to access the MSN/Windows Live network.
c) The only other place I access the MSN network is on my BlackBerry. No Windows PC logs onto my MSN.

The only thing I can think of is that there is something on MSN's Server that is causing this... or I have a worm/virus on my Mac...

Suggestions?

BTW, I have already changed my password in hopes that it was a keylogger on MSN's side or something.

Did you ever get a solution to this problem? I'm having the same problem, except that in my case it sends messages about açaí pills. I use Aidum on a Mac OS/X. I also tried changing the password on the hotmail account and it didn't fix the problem. It seems to be affecting only the hotmail account, not the other im services I use from within adium (google talk, yahoo mail).

This is normal using third party apps for MSN messenger.. It happens with e-buddy, sinmessenger.com,nimbuzz,etc.. aMSN doesn't seem to get spam tho. Try it out.

Cheers!
