My one year old Macbook does not wake up after sleep mode. After reboot I can exactly one time go into the sleep mode and wake-up. At the second time the Status Lamp stays on and the display remains black.
It does not depend on how the sleep mode was enabled (closing the book, menue, idle time)
I have also tried different sleep modes (sleep, hypernate) using the tool smartsleep. No help.
In various threads I saw that I am not alone with the problem. It seems that it happens to macbook and macbook pro also.

Professionals - I need your help!

First thing to try is reset the System Management Controller (SMC). See the following Apple KB article: Link
