Crossover for mac

What i want to do is use a windows only software program on my mac, but i definately do not want to use boot camp or parallels as i dont want crappy windows on my nice mac
Has anyone used crossover? Is it any good or does anybody have any other programs that i can use to do this. I want to run holdem manager on my mac. thanks

Looking through the Crossover compatibility database, Holdem Manager isn't listed. Therefore, there is no guarantee it will work. I would suggest, therefore, looking for an alternative or consider investing some money (depending on your choice and access to Windows) and time in virtualization if this program is a must have.

Again, you can try it but if it isn't officially supported by Codeweavers, don't be surprised if something goes wrong.

unfortunately there is no program in the world at the minute that tracks omaha poker on the mac. pokercopilot.com said they were making one but it could be next year. and im crap on the computer so i dont even know what you mean by investing time and money into virtualizing it thanks anyway

Virtualizing = using something like Parallels, VMWare Fusion or VirtualBox.

You can give it a try - there is a demo. Can't hurt to try. My only advice would be to thoroughly try it before you invest in Crossover. It is possible that certain parts of the program will work while others won't.

I just tried installing Hold'em Manager under Crossover Mac.... unfortunately it doesn't work.
