Alight i have the new macbook aluminum 2.4. Came with 2gb ram but refused to pay there price for memory so i was going to upgrade to 4gb but see that some people are putting up to 8gb ram in there laptops. Can i also do this or what is the max memory i can install for my macbook?

Thanks in advance

Your MB will only support up to 4GB of RAM. Plus, 8GB of RAM is unjustifiably expensive - do you really need that much RAM?

ok i will only upgrade to 4gb then. I prob dont need anything that much but figured if i was upgrading it i would rather only do it once and not do it a little then regret it and want to do more.
Thanks for info.
