About a month ago my iPod touch 1st gen was stolen and somehow hacked and replaced by her information/songs/etc. I'm trying to replace the information with mine from my iTunes library, and I really want to know the correct way to do this before I proceed.

I am reseting the information through the settings on the iPod now, after trying to replace and nothing happened. Is there a special way to do this?

Your Mac's Specs

Right click on the iPod when you plug it in. You should have the option to restore.
