Hi, I'm trying to move some Mp3 files into my itunes library so I can put them on my ipod. I've tried dragging them and nothing happens, there's a plus sign but the file is not transfered. I also tried to use add to library from the file menu, it lets me choose the file but does not add it. I have reinstalled itunes and still have the same problem, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong.

Ok a little more info , where are these mp3,s that you are trying to import located now? ie cd/dvd/external hdd/system drive?
