sale on the white macbooks

do you know if they're about to have a sale on the white macbooks?

I think they are all already on permanent sale as they are trying to close the line out. Check for refurbished models on the Apple store site. I've seen some in the $800-900 range.

I just checked and there aren't any now, but it changes from week to week.

Some locations (Philadelphia) have brand new white Macbooks on sale for $1000 but with a $150 rebate so you only end of spending $850. It's a very impressive store. I landed an open box 17 inch Macbook Pro (2008 model) for $1599 last weekend.

yes, they have an additional sale of 50 dollars off of the previous white macbook. The new whit one is 999 and 899 with student discount. the previous version is now 849. However, i don't think that's a good deal at all compared to the new one.
