Free Space

I had three partitions: mac, windows, and one I use like a palette. Recently I attempted to remove the windows one, but I think I messed it up. I went into disk utility to erase the partition, zero it out, but it returned an error. It is now free space. How can I merge this to my mac partition?

Did u have a back up before you started the process?

Ok, backed up the palette, removed it, and then I repartitioned it. Thank you.
