Office 2008 Wont Open

Hi guys,
When i try and open word, excel etc I get an error message that it has encountered an error and has to close. Any ideas on how I can rectify this problem? My MacBook is only 7 months old. Thanks

Search the Microsoft support forums, or type the exact error message here. Make sure Office is updated.
