Screen right side not working

My beloved iPod Touch had a fall (not too hard) a little while ago. Everything is working normally except that the right side isn't responding to touch. So my problem is that when I try to open apps on the far right column they don't respond.
I tried the resetting thing a few times, but no luck.
Any other ideas anyone?

That's a difficult one. Try talking to the Geniuses.

I got it fixed. I had to restore the iPod and reload from backup. ... that was scary.
