- Mac pro Quad Xeon; 15" Retina Macbook Pro; macbooks (family); Macbook pro 17"; intel & G4 iMacs.
Right, we have 10 Apple computers in the family (one each but I have 2 laptops and the pro) plus an Apple server. I bought a genuine Apple Remote package on the cheap when I bought Leopard server and use it regularly to access the pro from the macbook pro etc BUT.....
I have never got WOL to work EVER... I have a Windows Server and a linux box too. I have tried turning on WOL in the bios (when that is an option), the NICs are all WOL compatible etc etc....
How can I launch my Mac pro from the macbook pro ???????

If I could get the PCs to work too that would be great but it is the Apples that I really want to get going so I can shut them down and save electricity but still re-start them
