I have 2 new issues after upgrading to 10.4 from 10.3 - I just did a "Safari update" a few days ago...

1) Safari takes forever to load and says can't contact Spell Checker. Then works ok for a few minutes then stalls out about every 15-20 minutes.

2) When i start up the finder bar and menu are as it always is BUT! when I start up Safari the menu changes as below starting with "Sleep"...

Sleep
Restart...
Restart
Shutdown...
Shutdown
Logout...
Logout

I know the one with periods will give me an option to cancel that particular action I have chosen but the ones without the periods are new and are one-step actions - why are they both showing up?

Thanks!

Have you tried installing Safari 4 beta? It might well fix your problem

I also want to note the font on my system pop up windows, like when my screen saver comes up and I have to type a password is now in a bold font instead of how it used to be - it's like it is yelling at me!

I have installed MainMenu but I need to know what to run on it that would relate to my problems.

Thanks
