problems w/ screen

A couple months ago a bright vertical line appeared on my screen. Now there are 5. Does this mean my screen is going out?

More likely the video card, not the screen. Run a Hardware test to see if it comes up with anything.

When my video card was playing up i found by resetting the PRAM here and then doing Extended Hardware test < 1 hour 40 mins/4GB RAM > i would regain normal function until the next bigger demand on the Video viz iChat Video. After going thru that carry on 4 times my entire Logic Board was replaced.
