I have a MBP 2008 and I would like to know what is the version of the operating system i.e 10.1.5 - 10.3.9 or 10.3.9 -10.5.6 etc
how do I fing the exact od version? I do not have the discs with me so I would have to find out using the notebook itself.
thanks

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook Pro 15" 2ghz/2GB/250gb/SD - White Macbook 2.16ghz/2.5GB/250GB/SD
Your OS would be at the least 10.5.

To get the exact version number, click the "Apple" icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen, then select "About This Mac".

Now you will be presented with a window that tells you about your Mac.
Mine says.
Mac OS X
Version 10.5.7

Processor 2.16 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 2.5 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM
