Hi all,

I desperately need to play two playlists of videos (mov & avi) simultaneously using splitscreen (split screen). I know this can be done using the Mosaic wizard but im not familiar with the command line stuff and dont know where to begin.

I am putting together a video to be projected behind a DJ tonight. She is doing a Michael Jackson vs. Prince theme and I need a split screen with half MJ and half Prince videos playing simultaniosly.

My original plan was to edit a piece together with Final Cut Pro but with all the video I have I wont have time for it to render.

Any suggestions?

THanks!!

What hardware do you have at your disposal?
If you have two projectors hooked up to two video outs, you can manage them just like multiple screens. In the Monitors section of Sys Prefs, you arrange the two as you need. Problem would be, what sort of hardware are you using, can it handle doing such a process?

Also, why not do it in FCP? Convert it all to NTSC clips in Compressor, shouldn't take too long. Edit together in FCP, you have no render times. But again, it's a question of what sort of hardware you're using. What are you using?
