Alright––Originally when I got my Apple 23" Aluminum display, a dead pixel. But, after recently talking to an Apple rep, that may be a cluster. As well, throughout time I found one green stuck pixel, and two other dead pixels. Then, magically, one of the dead pixels went away. Today, I just noticed TWO NEW dead pixels!

So, the current count is:
1 cluster
3 dead pixels
1 stuck green pixel

I called Apple, and the general number for Apple was 5 dead pixels. He informed me that if I took it to an Apple store, they may be able to replace it.

Here's the problem:

During normal use, I can't even see them unless I look carefully for them
Is it worth it to drag my new display there, and get another?

You got nothing to lose by going and getting a new one. Besides, I love getting new stuff, don't you? It will be hard to say in the future, if more problems might occur with your display.

You just spent upwards of a thousand bucks on a product and found flaws in it. If I were you I'd cart that thing back and get a new one ASAP.

well, just decided.

Tomorrow morning, I'm hauling it down to my local Apple Store, where Eric, a rep, said that a genious would take a look at it, and I'd probably get a new one.

So, wish me luck!

Good for you for complaining a bit, in order to get yourself a new display.

AppleJustWorks has all kinds of Apple stuff THAT ACTUALLY WORKS.
I don't like having dead pixels. I don't like having 256 megs of RAM. I don't like this Powerbook.

*bashes head against wall* Oh why... why why why...
