Hey guys, today my MacBook fell off my desk and when I turned it on I got the question mark. I have a month left on my warranty and I was wondering of Apple will be able to fix it. And if they do and it isn't covered under the warranty how much will it cost me to fix it. Thanks

I'm sure Apple will be able to repair your MacBook, however, since accidental damage is not covered under the warranty or Apple care, the repair cost is more than likely going to be on you.

The flashing question mark means no boot device was found. See this Link. It may be that when you dropped the machine the hard drive was damaged. Boot the machine with your install DVD, run Disk Utilities. Run verify and repair. You might also want to run the Apple Hardware Test.

AHT: see this Link

Regards.

To answer the second part of your question, you would just need to replace the drive if the mechanism itself failed. Hard drives vary in price based on capacity and speed, but generally $50-100. You should be able to find a roomy 320GB drive, running at 7200rpm with a solid warranty for around $90.
