Hi, I have been looking over the net and am not sure if I can upgrade my RAM at all. In system profiler I get the following info:

Hardware Overview:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro3,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB

MacRumors guide seems to suggest that my model (3,1) can be upgraded to 2x2GB RAM, is that correct?

If so, where is the best place to buy compatible RAM?

Thanks

Your Mac's Specs
2018 15" MBP, 2019 11" iPad Pro, iPhone 11 Pro
Yes, 4gb is recommended max for your machine. Plenty of places to find reliable RAM online for around $50. Don't buy from apple store - too much $$$.
Search for this (Provided it is NOT the unibody MBP): 4GB Kit 667MHz DDR2 SoDimm Dual Channel Memory
