You might have noticed we are now using the default smilie set for vBulletin. We had to do this because the "enhanced" smilies that we had would not render correctly in IE. So we are now in search of a good smilie set. If you know of any good smilies, let us know so we can take a look at them.

Here's a thought: We could somehow design a smiley set that uses Apple logos instead of circles as the base shape, and then add the eyes and mouths to them. So basically, we'd have a bunch of smiling, crying, winking, etc. Apple logos. Hmm...maybe that's getting a little carried away, Oh well.

Actually I love that idea :) I think we should! How about people start submitting their ideas? Remember to keep the Apple theme, and/or the mac-forums theme.. This is just me saying this.. it's up to Emrys, but I would love to see what people come up with :)

Yah, that would be pretty cool to have Apple Smilies.

btw, I don't think it was just IE, in Safari I could see a border around the smily, I didn't find it that iritating.

But I kinda like the default smileys :p
