It seems my MacBook Pro wireless option included the new "N" spec wirless routers and cards. Now my question are. These still seem to be draft proposals, but there are devices out there that support the spec. Is it just a question of "rubber stamping" them or are they likly to change.
Secondly which unit. I know Apple do Airport Extreme, but this supports a wireless printer option which I don't need. On the other hand Linksys do the WAG160N which is about £50 cheaper. OK no wireless printer option but would it be a suitable choice
Also are the claimed speed of 300mps reasonable or is this only an obtainable speed with the router right next to the computer.
Any info really appreciated
