I just bought a used PowerBook G4. I want to erase everything and start fresh. It did not come with the Restore disc. Is there another way to do this? Not quite sure what version.

Thanks.

You really need to try to obtain a set of restore disks for the Powerbook. I don't know which OS was originally installed on your PB but you may be able to find a set of disks on eBay. According to Mactracker, you can install Tiger (OS X 10.4.X) on that machine. You should be able to find a retail copy of Tiger (which will be for the PPC) on eBay.

Regards.
