Hi,

I installed the demo version of an application called Astound Stereo. I didn't like it so decided to get rid of it. I use an app called CleanApp to remove apps. It goes through and finds any file realted to the app you are deleting and gets rid of the whole lot. Except that in this instance, Astound hae an automated pop up window that appears when you log in. It is basically a message asking if you want to continue using the trial version or buy the full version. I have looked through my computer and can't find any files left for this app. Is there a way of getting rid of this pop up, other than re-installing? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Thanks,

Nigel

Have you looked in your start up items folder? It may have dumped a file in there.
Have you tried using "find" or "spotlight" to see if it finds anything?

I had a look in the login items, and it had dumped something there.
Thanks for the help Kevriano! I had searched EVERYWHERE else, using spotlight and find and had found nothing! I hadn't thought of looking in the log in items!

No worries, glad it's gone.
