I'm an Advance Manufacturing Major at Western Kentucky University and have access to an Epilog Legand 36EXT Laser. I've had a lot of time using it, and have got pretty good on it. I'm considering doing something simple on the back of my macbook, most likely only on the back battery cover.

Any ideas? ?

here is some stuff i've done :

I'm thinking something simple, possibly just my name. Here is a design I made for my resume I am considering using.

Actually now that I look at the battery cover, I realize its plastic. Laser etching that would probably result in a "melted groove" design which wouldn't look to good I don't think.

Maybe I'll just take the entire back cover off.. I really don't like the idea of putting my macbook in the laser.
