For many, it would be. For another group of people, it should be fine. How much is it and what do you plan on doing with it?

Outdated?
Well, it is an older model, but it is certainly still a viable machine.

Just be sure to not spend much more than $300 for it.
I would say $400 tops.

I'm a Windows Pro, just want to learn the MAC O/S & needed a notebook anyways. I got it last night, $450 Canadian.

Thatis a great machine for that purpose.
That's roughly $385 U.S. so you got it at a fair and decent price, too.
