I know that Apple has disclaimers and what not protecting their software, but...

The disclaimer states "hardware must be branded with Apple logo"

Does this mean a sticker on the external case will suffice? Even if it means that every piece of hardware (HD, RAM, etc) must bear the logo, that CAN be done.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I not out to break any laws, but I do want to custom build a MacPro equivalent machine.

The disclaimer means the hardware must be manufactured by or under license from Apple. Period. You can probably do what you want but you may run into issues with upgrades etc, and you will be in violation of the OSX EULA.

Discussion of this here will be severely limited.
