So I'll be buying a Macbook Pro soon (17 inch, 2.93 GHz), and I'll be installing Windows (unfortunately) via boot camp so I can still play some of my favorite games. Problem is, I have absolutely NO idea what to install. XP, Vista 32, or vista 64? I've read that 32 wont take advantage of all 4Gbs of RAM, but I've also read that not all processors are 64 bit compatible, and that 64 has a great deal of compatibility issues as far as drivers and games go.

Does anyone here have any advice? I love the simple world of Mac. too bad there arent many good games :\

Personal experience with IT: avoid 64-bit Windows and stick with XP. 64-bit Windows has problems with drivers and issues with compatibility (at least with XP) and unless you need a specific feature of Vista (ie. DX10), I would recommend XP.

I agree the only problem behind 64 bit is that the developer have not made the move to it yet. So why fix what isn't broken stick with 32 bit for now and with XP.
