Clipart

I am an 'old' Windows user who has recently converted.
My query relates to clipart when using MS Office. On my Windows machine I had a huge amount of clipart available via having Publisher installed - plus the Publisher media disc installed.

Using Word etc. on my iMac - I have very little clipart.

What do others do to get around this small hiccup? Thank you.

You can download free clipart from the internet, just type it into a search engine and it's also probably possible to use the windows clip art on the mac depending on what format it is.

Another option is software packages such as 'Art Explosion' which specialise in clip art.

If you miss Publisher, you might be interested in Print Shop

It comes with a large selection of clip art.

AppleWorks also has a large clipart library built in, with the ability to download more from the internet.

But let me emplore you: unless you deal primarily with young children (elementary school teacher, pediatrician, parent/grandmother, etc.) don't use clipart. Adults don't think it's cute, fun, or even mildly amusing. Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I've sat through too many PowerPoint presentations in which someone seemed to think that fuzzy animals added to the content.

Hi Technologist,

I TOTALLY agree with the overuse of clipart issue - but, I am a teacher of 6-11 year olds and this is the reason I need the clipart.

No offence taken.
