Just like the title states. Every time I download a file (iPhone software, DivX, etc) and double-click it, it opens as jibberish in TE. ***? Help me out, how do I change this? Thanks!

It doesn't matter. Pretty much any file I've encountered so far.

.rar, .sitx, whatever. If its not in iTunes or a pic, it opens in TE

RAR needs an unarchiver. Same with on Windows. Google UnRAR for OSX for one.

SITX is a Stuffit file and needs the free unstuffit. You will find that with google also. Have you tried a Zip file? That should open.
